31st March, 2004 being the last date for the previous executive committee, to round up the activities a brief meeting of the executive committee was held that day at 5.30 pm in the Mathematics dept of Utkal University. The following members attended the meeting:

A. Firstly, the accounts of OITS from 1st April, 2003 to 31st March 2004 submitted by the treasurer was approved. Besides the abstract, it included the approval of the details of the account.

B. Some members of OITS of berhampur area had applied regarding opening of the berhampur chapter of OITS. It was approved that they may open the chapter as per article 6 of the bylaws, as was done for the opening of the sambalpur and rourkela chapters.
