- OITS was formed in 1997 (and registered in
1998) to promote information technology in the state of Orissa in the east coast
of India.
Workshops/advanced lectures:

Orissa IT Olympiads:
Orissa IT olympiad 2012 is yet to be announced.
International Conferences on IT, after being
held continuously for quite some time, has got discontinued since 2010. It is again being renewed in 2014 with support from Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar.
